The Friends of Panshanger Park – Who We Are
Organisations supporting the Friends of Panshanger Park include: British Horse Society (Herts), East Herts Footpaths, Friends of the Mimram, Hertford Civic Society, Hertford Disability Group, Herts Garden Trust, Hertingfordbury Conservation Society, Hertingfordbury Parish Council, Hertford & Ware Local History Society, Herts Building Preservation Trust, Herts Local Access Forum, Open Spaces Society, Panshanger People, The Ramblers, Welwyn Garden City Society, Welwyn Planning and Amenity Group, Welwyn Hatfield Cycling Forum.
The Friends of Panshanger Park exist because we care passionately about this special, historical and ecologically significant 1000 acre estate which we would like to get opened up for eveyone to enjoy.
The Friends of Panshanger Park (The FPP) were formed to achieve two Primary Objectives:
- To help preserve and enhance The Panshanger Park Grade II* Listed landscape for future generations.
- To ensure public access to a vibrant country park is achieved as soon as possible and maintained into the future for the people of Hertfordshire.
